This Sunday come on down to the family fun day at the official Homebush Bay Bridge opening where we will be hosting a community stall on either side of the bridge featuring short talks from two of our Ecologists!

Hear and ask questions about the incredible range of wildlife that inhabit the local environment at Sydney Olympic Park in short talks. You can catch the talks at 10am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

The day is set to be a whole lot of fun for the family with activities, entertainment, face painting, food stalls and more.

Where: Access via cnr Waterways Street and Footbridge Boulevarde, Wentworth Point and Cnr Shoreline Drive and Gauthorpe Street, Rhodes

About the Homebush Bay Bridge:
• The $63 million privately funded bridge linking the rapidly growing suburbs of Wentworth Point and Rhodes will officially open to the public on Sunday 22 May

• Reaching some 300 metres across Homebush Bay, the bridge is designed for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport

• Two new bus routes will commence as part of the bridge launch. The bridge will also serve emergency vehicles and has ability to carry light rail as an extension of the Parramatta Light Rail Project.
