Tune in this Thursday as musicians add some soul to your lunch

Tune in as we bring you some cool tunes to groove to or just sit back and enjoy in your lunch break.

Lunchtime music is our latest initiative to Shaping Our Place to make our community happier, healthier and more connected with one another.

Following feedback a couple of weeks ago on three different ideas to make Sydney Olympic Park a more fun and enjoyable place to be, lunchtime music proved most popular.

This Thursday will be the first in a trial of lunchtime music performances.

Put it in your diary – the Who, When & Where

Lunch this Thursday should be spent outdoors in Jacaranda Square, the park opposite the eastern end of the station, if you want to hear some cool tunes.

The Aston Martinis will be performing from midday a range of swing, jazz, soul and even some Rock n Roll.

If raining, the music can be heard from underneath the awning of the train station.

What do you think?
We are looking to put lunchtime music on the last Thursday of each month.

Let us know if you like/love/dislike this initiative or even where in Sydney Olympic Park you would like the musicians to play, by emailing us at shapingourplace@sopa.nsw.gov.au or commenting on this post!
