The DesignBUILD 2015 Expo brought together Australia’s architects, building manufacturers, suppliers and service providers who work across the commercial and residential industry at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

Sydney Olympic Park was showcased as a place for sustainable development at the expo featuring guest speakers Craig Bagley our Executive Manager of Major Projects, David Martin our Manager of Public Domain Design and Dr Marianne Sheumack, Coordinator of our popular Technical Insight Programs.

Craig shared with industry professionals how the Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2030 has been rolled out since the Games, with a particular focus on working with developers and other agencies on delivering best-practice environmental outcomes for new developments.

David spoke about Sydney Olympic Park as one of the world’s largest Water Sensitive Urban Design precincts focusing on examples of water sensitive street design, rain-gardens and recent transplanting of large scale Native Fig trees.
