International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority seek to ensure that all people are able to participate in activities and events at Sydney Olympic Park with dignity and equity.
The current Disability Action Plan guides our commitment to accessibility.
The Authority also have an Access Advisory Committee, made up of respected experts from the access profession, which provides advice to Sydney Olympic Park Authority on the functional access requirements of individuals and particularly on recommendations of all major proposed developments throughout the built environment within the Park.
