Congratulations! Aquatic Centre staff recognised for excellence in their fields

Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre staff Alana Dulgaro and Ted Lind have received industry recognition for their outstanding levels of service at the Aquatic & Recreation Institute Annual Awards. Lifeguard Alana Dulgaro was awarded Lifeguard of the Year, recognised for her commitment to the safety of patrons, training and teamwork. In 2013, Alana played an integral role in saving a young child’s life. Alana demonstrated expertise in this challenging situation while acting controlled and calm. Ted Lind was the worthy recipient of the Service Recognition Award, for his 45 years of service to the Aquatic and Recreation industry, including 20 years at the Sydney Olympic Park venues. During his time at Sydney Olympic Park Ted has held numerous roles including a Venue Logistics Manager during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, a Pool Supervisor and Event Manager. Congratulations to both Alana and Ted on their well-deserved awards and demonstrating excellence in their roles!
