Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour breaks record at Allphones Arena

Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour by the incredible Cirque du Soleil took over Allphones Arena on the last Friday in September at 6am with 37 semi-trailers and over 230 crew and performers to wow audiences later that evening…complete with a standing ovation.

This is the largest show ever to load into Allphones Arena on the same day as a performance with over 130 local and 50 international crew working to have the stage set by midday and soundcheck at 4pm.

Needless to say, as you can imagine, it was a huge effort by Allphones Arena staff and an unprecedented display of coordinated technical expertise, to ensure all was in order for doors opening.

You can see for yourself exactly what was involved in the set up for Cirque du Soleil by watching this time-lapse video.

The hard work was well worth it, as the show was nothing short of spectacular with fans leaving in awe of the sheer talent on display by some of the world’s best dancers, musicians and acrobats and the unique visual story-telling Cirque du Soleil is renowned for.

Thanks for sharing this story with us Allphones Arena!
