Happy anniversary!

Today, we lit the Olympic Cauldron to celebrate the anniversary of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is a tradition that we continue on 15 September each year, to mark the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games that were staged in Sydney Olympic Park (then called Homebush Bay).

We know that it has been 13 years since the “the best Games ever” and that the Park has changed a great deal in that time. But, we also know that many of us have great memories of the Olympics that we are happy to relive. After all, it ignited this unique place and left a living legacy for the community that we are now very proud to manage.

May there be many more great memories at Sydney Olympic Park…
